Siargao is the best place to go -- for adventure seekers of island's pristine beaches, hidden lagoons and other breathtaking spots, go during the summer months of March to May. Generally, the peak season for Siargao is during the dry season or between March and October, and the off-peak season starts in November and lasts until February.

Siargao has its own airport, the Sayak Airport, located in the municipality of Del Carmen. Sayak Airport is only connected to domestic destinations, such as Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific Air, and Skyjet. These airlines have regular direct Siargao flights from Manila, Cebu, and Davao.

The distance from Manila to Siargao is 762 km (473 miles). In this post, we compare the four best options to travel from Manila to Siargao: by direct flight (2 hours), by flight via Cebu (4.5 hours), by flight via Butuan (6.5 hours), and by ferry (at least 32 hours).

Here you may choose whether to enjoy the journey of public commuting and or by a private car. Yes, you can bring your car to Siargao if you take the Roro from Surigao to Siargao. For best outfits, since the weather is breezy and sunny in Siargao, it's very casual there so pack breathable tops and shorts and sundresses. Plus points if you rock the surfer look, like surf tops, denim shorts and slippers. Other stuffs needed for water/beach activities are also available on the island. There are boutiques and malls to go around for your needs.
